Event Project Grant Application

There are no set deadlines for event/project grant applications, however the LPIRG Board of Directors will look more favourably on applications that are submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the event/project. The Board may consider funding retroactively provided the application is submitted before the event. Please remember that LPIRG board members have student schedules and applications will not be processed during holiday seasons. Please allow 3 weeks for processing.

Every year, LPIRG gives out thousands of dollars in funding and hours of support for diverse student research and events! We’re proud to be able to support our great University of Lethbridge students doing work for social justice and the environment.

LPIRG provides funding, administrative assistance, information resources, and meeting and storage space to undergraduate and graduate students who have projects that are in the public interest. Funding can be accessed for events and projects, research, and to form action groups.
